Some bloke rang me to ask three quick questions, said it was about qualifying for some green energy grant thing. He mentioned he might ring back if I got picked or something. Said he was called Jack Hargreaves or something like that. Then he wanted my name and postcode to check his list. Honestly, seemed a bit off to me.

Today I got a call about solar panels. The guy said he just had a few questions to check if I might get a grant. He asked three, then suddenly started with more questions, so I told him he'd asked enough. Then he said someone would call me back to tell me if I’d gotten the grant. Later, someone else phoned and said another person would be calling soon. They added the only thing I needed to do when that person arrived was to “offer the gentleman a glass of water. Is that okay?” That seemed a bit strange to me, so I ended the call right away.
