After a couple of seconds, the line just went silent with no one speaking. Hung up and blocked straight away.

I’ve had four calls in just a couple of days from some energy company pushing renewable energy deals. The first was a woman who wouldn’t take no for an answer. Then a "manager" called asking to arrange a meeting. The third call was from a really pushy salesperson insisting someone would come round at 2pm on 11/12/2013, despite me making it clear I wasn’t interested. The fourth call was the same guy still trying to persuade me, and when I mentioned his aggressive manner, he tried to claim he was being polite. Absolute nonsense. If they show up, I’m not hesitating to phone the police. Not sure why they singled me out, but I reckon it’s because I’m retired. The number is 01277725032.
