This number rang me 3 times but I never managed to pick up in time. The voicemail said it was from Nationwide and if it was important they’d ring back. So, I got in touch with Nationwide Brentwood on their 0800 line. The woman there told me no one from Nationwide had called me. After checking on ‘who called me’, it turns out it was a pest call, likely about some fake accident claim!

Got a missed call from this local number, so I rang back. It was some kind of automated voice, telling me my call was important and to stay on the line. Didn’t say anything about who it was or what company. Quite strange. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

a guy rang me saying he was from amc about a crash i supposedly reported. but i never reported any accident. he spoke with a liverpool accent, yet the number's actually got a brentwood area code.
