Received a rather peculiar call claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. I mentioned that I'm not the one in charge of the bills, and that they should ring back when my husband is about. The response was a rather dramatic 'oh' followed by an exaggerated sigh, and then the line went dead. They started off trying to tempt me with an iPhone 13 Pro Max for the princely sum of £40 a month, boasting unlimited everything, all with my current provider. It felt a bit dodgy to say the least. Best to steer clear of this number - total scam!
