I abruptly cut off the call with my daughter when she mentioned that she'd come and fetch me.

I answered the phone, but the person on the other end hung up after asking a question. Quite odd, really.

I received a call about a complimentary assessment for my solar panels. They had obviously sourced my details from some sort of database. The operator wouldn’t give me a chance to speak, and when I tried to interject to request the removal of my information, they abruptly hung up on me. Quite frustrating!

A woman with a posh accent called my landline at 12:39 on the 26th of May, 2017, claiming, "We represent a government-endorsed company. We see that you've had solar panels fitted..." Before she could continue, I jumped in, asking, "Could you provide me with your company's registration number?" Without missing a beat, she hung up straight away. By the way, I'm signed up with the Telephone Preference Service.

I've received three calls from this number today, yet every time I pick up, there's just silence on the other end. Quite peculiar, really!

Received a call on my mobile from a number I didn't recognise, so I opted not to pick up. They didn't bother to leave a message either.

I keep receiving calls from this number on my mobile, and it always disconnects as soon as I pick up. I’ve never bothered to return the call since I've read enough online to know it’s likely a pestering telemarketer.

I received a call from a number linked to Brentwood, so I enquired about their identity, mentioning that they had rung up my emergency contact. They quickly apologised for the inconvenience and ended the call.

Received a call from an unidentified number, and there was nothing but silence on the other end. Quite perplexing, isn’t it?

I've been receiving calls from this number on a daily basis for the last week. Since I don't recognise the number, I've chosen to let it ring. I'm beginning to think it's just one of those nuisance calls!
