I keep getting calls from this number, it’s some sort of government research place. They just don’t stop calling!

They kept ringing to ask our nursery managers to fill out a survey, which we already did. Even after telling them that, they wouldn’t stop. When we asked them to send the email again, they’d launch into a long spiel about what still needed doing. If you hang up, they just ring straight back to carry on talking. Their website says the survey’s optional, but the way they keep pestering you, it feels like you’ve got no choice.

Im pretty sure this number is legit and safe to answer. Ive had a call from NHS Digital using it, they were following up after I got a letter from them about a week before. They were inviting us to take part in the Health Survey for England and the call came after I left a message on the NHS Digital freephone number.

I've been getting calls from this number on behalf of an older man I look after who has Alzheimer's and is 85 years old. It's awful how these scammers target people who can barely defend themselves. They fake their phone numbers to seem local, but this one's actually ringing from India, not Brentwood as it claims. Please be cautious, folks, these are definitely fraudsters.

It's a genuine survey organisation, doing life and health studies for official government stats. But if anyone asks you for your bank info, it's defo a scammer pretending to be them! My husband and I once agreed to have them visit us at home, and a very polite woman showed up. I've since stopped taking part because it feels a bit too time consuming and personal, but my husband keeps answering their questions.

NatCen arent dodgy or anything, they’re proper safe though they can be a bit relentless. Usually call a few times but then stop after a few days. You do get vouchers sent in the post for taking part in their surveys.

Got a call today with a voicemail claiming to be from NatCen, and funny enough, I got a letter from them through D.W.P. Honestly, the D.W.P. really ought to be more careful handing out personal details to these survey folks. I can’t wrap my head around how the D.W.P. manage to dodge the G.D.P.R. rules - that data protection law is supposed to stop this stuff. I’d say best not to pick up or give out any personal info if they ring you.
