I interrupted him politely, asking him to cease his conversation, and requested that he remove my number from his list. He outright refused and was rather discourteous. I hung up, yet he proceeded to ring me back using two different numbers shortly after.

Received a call earlier today from someone purporting to be from Car Phone Warehouse. When I requested to talk to a manager who spoke English, simply to convey my disinterest and request no further calls, the bloke on the line turned quite rude. He had the audacity to tell me to "screw off" and threw in some derogatory remarks about myself and my mother for good measure. When I inquired about his name, he had the cheek to question me and then abruptly ended the call. Quite the charming encounter, I must say!

When I inquired who they were trying to reach, they stumbled over their words and claimed their name was Denver, yet couldn’t provide the name of the intended recipient. I reminded them about GDPR and insisted they should erase my number since I hadn’t consented to receive marketing calls. The chap on the other end maintained that he couldn’t do that, and I informed him that, by law, he was required to comply. At that point, he began making these strange sounds like “ohh ohh ohh,” which I found quite unsettling, so I decided to hang up. I’m still unsure if this call truly came from Carphone Warehouse, but I’m definitely blocking that number. My recommendation? Better not to pick up at all!
