Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming she was calling on behalf of BT about my internet. When I asked what the issue was, she said my computer had been hacked and I needed to change my IP address. I asked how I could be sure she was really from BT, and she told me the only way to prove it was to follow her steps online. I mentioned my husband usually handles this stuff but he was out at work. She then asked when he'd be back and I said later tonight. She ended the call right there!
