I received a rather alarming call from this number, claiming that there was an attempt to siphon off £600 from my credit card to somewhere overseas. Straight away, I recognised it as a scam; they didn't even mention which credit card provider they represented. To make things clear, the only card I have is hardly ever used, reserved strictly for emergencies, so I knew something was off right from the get-go.
