Got a call from this number and it turned out to be someone trying to sell me switching my phone service. Could be absolutely anyone behind it and I bet it ends up costing way more than they let on! Stay cautious.

Some bloke rang me saying he had my number from WeChat and to keep ‘her’ safe, he needed to ask me some questions. I just ended the call straight away. Soon after, I got a message threatening to track my phone and implying they’d cause trouble for me. I’ve already passed the number along to the police.

He said his name was Steven, but I told him I’ve already got like 10 calls from him just this hour and told him to stop. Then he threatened he’d scam me if I didn’t listen. I just laughed and hung up. Honestly, it’s all bluff, he’s just trying to scare me but won’t actually do anything.
