Got a call on my home phone from someone saying they were with BT. They addressed me as madam and then just ended the call. These scammers should be blocked immediately.

I got a call from someone with an Indian accent pretending to be from British Telecom Openreach. They said my router was sending loads of spam emails or something like that. Then they started asking if I was close to the router and if any lights were blinking. I told them I wasn’t near it, then they asked if I was on my computer, I said no and they just ended the call. Quite suspicious really.
