An individual with a noticeable struggle in English phoned me, requesting to chat with my wife by name. They claimed she had some overdue payments on her account (which is entirely untrue) and offered to help resolve the issue. When I inquired about the specific payments she was supposedly lacking, they got rather flustered. Before I knew it, the line went dead. I've since blocked the number.

Quite elusive when I inquired about how they obtained my number. I made it clear I was recording our conversation and would be escalating the matter to the authorities without delay.
