The phone rang right at 11 in the morning, but I just ignored it since I usually don’t answer numbers I don’t recognise. After checking this site, I’m pretty sure it’s mostly pointless to even bother answering calls like that. Thanks for the heads up!

I’ve just had a call on my Virgin mobile.

If the number isn't familiar, I won’t bother answering.

It’s quite amusing really, considering I was never tangled up in that PPI nonsense to begin with, so there's really no reason for them to ring me.

I find myself questioning the mindset of those who make these sorts of calls. Surely they can’t be naive enough to think that bombarding individuals with unsolicited phone calls will actually persuade us to accept their offers for PPI claims or ambulance-chasing services. It’s utterly baffling, really - they must be complete numpties to think this approach could work!

This person keeps ringing me nonstop, really annoying. Even when you just ignore the calls, it’s still a waste 'cause you end up using up your credit faster and have to top up more often. Such a pain!

I picked up the phone since it was a number from my area. A woman with an Indian accent claimed that their records indicated I had money owed to me for a Payment Protection Insurance. I clarified that I've never had such insurance and promptly ended the conversation. - caller: Unknown

Received a call from this number earlier on, but they didn’t leave any voicemail. I was busy with work, so I didn’t pick up. When I tried ringing back, it wouldn’t even connect - just beeped and then disconnected abruptly. Thought I’d hop on here to see if anyone else had encountered it. I could barely make out what they were saying, there was a terrible crackling noise the whole time.

I received a call from a woman with an Asian accent, claiming to represent a company that sounded a bit like Pcc, in relation to a PPI claim. I informed her that I was on the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) list and should not be receiving such calls, insisting that she erase my number from their records entirely. She then had the audacity to ask if I’d like to discuss making a PPI claim while I was still on the line! Absolutely not! I made it clear that should she keep contacting me, I'd be billing her £100 per minute for my time. I bid her farewell and reiterated my demand to have my information deleted forthwith!

I just got a call from them and promptly sent it to voicemail. I signed up for some service to block unwanted calls, something like the TPS, I believe. (The details are in my email, apologies for the confusion.) Yet, I still find myself bombarded with pesky calls on my mobile. It's really infuriating! This marks the second irritating caller I've had this week alone.

I'm at my wits' end with this persistent caller who keeps ringing my phone. Honestly, I've stopped answering, so you'd think they'd take the hint and leave me be! As a seventy-year-old widow with some health concerns, these constant interruptions are incredibly frustrating, to put it mildly. I really do wish they'd take a cue and cease their calls.
