Just got a call saying "Thank you for your Amazon order. Your purchase for £390.00 has been confirmed and will be dispatched shortly." Then they started prompting me to "press 1" or "press 2" and so on. I ended the call straight away since I haven't ordered anything from Amazon. These calls are really alarming and could easily cause panic. £390 is quite a hefty amount! Lately, loads of calls have come from people pretending to be "Amazon" or "Amazon Prime" - all clearly phishing scams. Best to hang up immediately and put that number straight on the blacklist.
