Received a call from a chap, sounded Indian, claiming to be from the Tenancy Security Deposit Scheme. He mentioned it was some sort of helpline. However, it seems the only assistance they’re offering is to empty your wallet. Stay vigilant – it’s a scam!

I can confirm that this number is undeniably a con! The individual on the other end has the same distinctive tone and accent as someone who persistently rings me from various numbers, masquerading under different business names, all in an attempt to extract personal information.

I received a phone call from 01275275006, and the chap on the other end had a distinctly Indian accent. He claimed to be representing “something” Media. I made it quite clear, multiple times, that I wasn’t interested and requested he refrain from calling me again, yet he persisted. Eventually, I had no choice but to terminate the call on him.

I received a call earlier today from someone claiming to represent Curry's Mobile. They were going on about some fantastic phone offer. I promptly informed them that I had no interest in purchasing a new phone and hung up.

I received a call from this number claiming to be from Virgin Media, trying to resolve some WiFi issues. When I mentioned I didn't own a router, the bloke bizarrely asked me about my chest size! I informed him I had recorded the conversation and intended to report it to the police. How odd!

I had an interesting encounter with a lady named Emma who claimed she was phoning me from the UK, supposedly representing BP. When I queried why she was misleading me about her name and pressed for her full name, she promptly cut the call. This definitely reeks of a scam to me, as I usually hear from O2 via text or email rather than this kind of suspicious phone call.
