Got a voicemail on my home phone, and they had recorded a really worrying message. They said that just 15 minutes earlier, £600 had been moved from my bank account to some overseas place. Then they told me to press 1 if I wanted to confirm or cancel it. Of course, I haven’t done anything like that but I can see how elderly or more trusting folks might fall for it and end up losing a lot of money. Such a nasty scam!
