I just had a phone call from this number, purporting to be from HMRC, stating there was a tax evasion matter that needed urgent attention. They threatened that failing to press 1 would lead to a warrant being issued in my name. Naturally, I pressed 1, and was connected to someone with a thick accent. I challenged him about the legitimacy of the call, and he hung up on me right away. Quite suspicious, I must say!
