Got a call from someone with a weird foreign accent saying something about BT broadband. When I told them I knew it was a scam, they just hung up on me.

Got a call from some bloke yesterday and again today saying my internet was acting up. I told him that wasn’t right and just hung up on him.

Some guy called saying he was from “bt tech support” or something, but his accent was really hard to catch. He was going on about strange IP addresses popping up on my internet in recent days. To be honest, he wasn’t making much sense and never once asked to verify who I was or even gave me any proof who he was. Seemed dodgy as hell, so I just told him it was rubbish and hung up.

Some bloke said he was from BT warning me about hackers on my internet. When I asked him for a number to ring back, the call just got cut off.
