An Indian gentleman rang me up asserting he was representing British Telecom and asked if I was currently at my computer, as there were supposed issues that needed addressing. I promptly hung up on him, and they made further attempts to reach me again later on the same day.

First a woman, then a bloke called me a few times. Seemed like they were trying to trick my parents into handing over some private info or something. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

Got a dodgy call from an Asian bloke once, though sometimes it’s a woman on the phone. They say they’re from TalkTalk’s tech team and that there’s something wrong with my internet. Another time, they rang me using a weird prefix before this number: 01274815595, making it look like 0014401274815595 or something like that. Definitely a scam.

i got a call from this number on january 5th. i told them my internet was fine and i wasnt falling for it, then they just hung up straight away. feeling like its best to block it now.

I got a call from someone pretending to be with BT Openreach. He told me that there was an attempt to hack my computer and asked me to turn it on so he could help fix it. Obviously, it was just a total scam.

This bloke rang me again, and I swear it was one of those dodgy scam calls.

Someone said they were from BT internet, saying there was an issue. I told them to disconnect immediately. They rang again and I had to tell them off for the second time. Pretty clear it’s a scam. These calls should definitely be blocked. I marked it as harassment since they keep pestering, but honestly, they could really trick vulnerable folks, especially since they’re targeting computers.
