Got a voicemail saying HMRC had opened a fraud case on me and to press “1” to talk to them. I just ended the call straight away.

I phoned the number back and someone answered with an accent but then they just ended the call. Seems a bit dodgy to me.

I picked up but there was silence, then the line just dropped. Looks like they're probably just seeing if I'm active and might ring back from a different number later.

I keep getting calls on my phone around the same time every day this week, but the callers never say a word or leave a voicemail. It's a bit odd. Most of the other numbers that have called before were from insulation companies, so I’m guessing this might be related as well (just based on the notes I had on those previous numbers).
