Got a bloke calling me, sounds like he’s from Asia or something, claims to be from BT. He wants me to get on my computer so he can help "sort out a virus issue" or whatever. But when I start asking him stuff, he just drops the call. Then he'll ring back again after a while. Proper dodgy, I reckon.

Don’t pick up if this number rings you. They said they were from BT Openreach and tried to get me to open up my computer. I told them it sounded dodgy and then they started swearing at me! Reported it to Action Fraud straight away. Just so everyone knows, BT will NEVER ask you to open your computer for them.

I answered a call from a Bradford area code but all I got was silence. No one spoke, just quiet. Maybe it was a mistaken call but at least a quick "wrong number" would be polite. Seems like common courtesy is becoming rare these days!
