Got a voicemail from someone claiming to be HMRC, saying I owed taxes and if I didn’t pay a fine, I could end up in jail. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it! :)

This number gave me a call but stayed silent for about 40 secs. When I rang back, a bloke with a Jamaican accent picked up claiming to be from HMRC. I questioned him about the call and he just cut me off. I tried calling again, it rang then went straight to engaged tone, but no one would pick up. Tried several times but no luck.

Got a voicemail claiming to be from HMRC, but honestly, the robotic voice butchered the words so badly it was hard to take seriously. Makes you wonder if anyone actually falls for these crappy scams. Lol.

Got a text from this lot as well. If HMRC was after money from me, I reckon they’d have sent a proper letter or a couple of warnings through the post, not some weird company using a robot to contact me!

I rang the number back and someone claiming to be from HMRC picked up. It felt fishy since it's usually really difficult to get through to HMRC directly. Seems like it might be a scam.

I just got a call from some guy with a Jamaican accent. He told me I need a lawyer because apparently, I’m being accused of tax fraud. I asked how that could be since I’m not even working, and he just hung up on me. Definitely sounds like a dodgy scam to me.
