I had a rather unpleasant experience when I requested the removal of my number. The individual on the other end responded quite aggressively, stating he would ensure my details ended up on some sort of interested list, and that I'd be bombarded with calls. Quite appalling, if you ask me! Then, to top it off, he abruptly ended the call.
