This number looks like it’s no longer in use, if you check the dialling code (01274) it’s directly followed by a zero which doesn’t happen with any real numbers there. It’s such an obvious scam attempt it’s almost laughable, but still pretty risky.

If folks stopped giving cold callers the time of day, they'd probably give up pretty quick. The truth is, some do listen, so they keep doing it. Me personally, I don’t bother, and with any firm that rings up outta the blue or sends unwanted letters, I make sure I steer clear of them - done that a few times now.
