They tried calling me twice, once yesterday and then today. My phone was on silent so I didn’t catch the ring at all. I had that number blocked before, so I don’t get how it managed to come through this time.

I can confirm this isn’t a scam at all. I’m with Anchor Housing, and they hired this survey firm to check on how tenants feel about things like repairs. They’ve put up posters in the shared spaces with all the details about the company and their phone number, so it’s all legit.

I didn't know the number, so I called 1471 to check and heard a recorded message about a "satisfaction survey for my landlord" and that they might try to call me again. Another annoying scam call, as usual. I just set it to answer automatically and left it running for more than five minutes. Honestly, it would be brilliant if there was some sort of gadget that could wipe out these scammer phones as soon as you find out what they are... but I guess that’s still waiting to be made.

My 96 year old mum got a call from this number today. Luckily, she didn’t really understand what the person was saying, so she gave me a ring to see if I recognised it. I’m gonna have one of the kids help her learn how to block the number!

I got a call from a company working for Anchor Housing, trying to get me to take part in a survey. Being an older tenant, I’ve chosen to say no to these before and told Anchor not to give out my info to anyone without asking me first. This feels like a data protection issue to me, so I’m planning to lodge a complaint with Anchor. I’ve blocked the number now.

Anchor Housing hires Acuity Research & Practice to ring up tenants quite often. They do surveys to find out what residents think and how their experience has been. So if you get a call from this number, it’s probably them checking in with a survey.

This number rang me at 9:42 this morning, I didn't pick up but I dialled 1471 to see who it was. It looked fishy, so I checked it on 'WHO CALLED ME FREE' and sure enough, turns out it was a scam call.

Today, 12/11/2024, I got a call claiming to be from Accurity (Anchor). They knew my email, but there was this weird echo in the background, so I told them just to email me the survey instead. So far, nothing has come through. Since I live in Anchor housing, I’ll be checking with my scheme manager to find out if this call was legit. For now, I’m marking it as unknown.

Received a rather belligerent call from this number earlier. The caller demanded to speak to a relative of mine who doesn’t even reside with me. When I inquired about their identity, the woman on the other end refused to reveal her name or the company she represented. I pressed her on how she obtained my number, and what exactly she wanted, but she very rudely told me it was none of my concern. After that, I hung up and promptly blocked the number. I later rang the same number, this time with my number withheld, only to be told they were conducting research for my landlord. Quite peculiar, considering I own my property, as does my relative.

Clearly, this was a scam call.

Some bloke rang up saying he was carryin' out a survey for Anchor Housing. Asked if I could put him through to my brother. I told him I'm his legal rep through the Courts of Protection since my brother has learning challenges, that's why my number's linked to him. The call was about a safety review done recently on my brother's house. I said I hadn’t seen any letter about it so couldn’t really say much. He came across quite polite, actually. Though, weirdly, the number did pop up as "suspected spam."
