I asked if she was calling from "+++", the firm I have a service deal with, but she said she was with the "Manufacturer's Guarantee Department". When I pressed her for the manufacturer's name, she hung up straight away! Seems like another washing machine scam, probably after my card details.

I just put them on block. If you've already asked them to erase your info from their records but they keep ringing - especially if it’s from the same number - then you should definitely report it to the ombudsman. They aren’t meant to keep calling once you’ve told them to delete your data. The ombudsman has the power to step in and sort it out.
