Got a call from someone called Elaine, but she had a proper Indian accent. Said she was ringing about insurance for white goods. Seemed like one of those sales calls trying to get you to sign up for something you don’t really need. I wasn’t too sure, so I just said thanks and hung up. Not convinced it was anything genuine.

I just received a call from someone who didn’t utter a word before disconnecting. Quite puzzling!

So they called about insurance for my washing machine, since the manufacturer’s warranty has expired. They were pushing me to sign up for extended insurance. When I said no, they got all patronising and asked what I’m planning to do when it eventually breaks down. Really annoying!

I usually don’t pick up calls from unknown numbers, so I just ignored it. Didn’t bother answering.

01273 987213 - Had a dreadful experience with a bloke on the line, insisting that our warranty was expiring and needed renewal. When we mentioned that we don’t even own the Samsung he was waffling on about, he outright called us liars! A thoroughly unpleasant interaction, really. Best to cut the conversation short and report this as soon as you can.

i’m pretty sure my phone number isn’t on any business lists connected to me, and ive definitely signed up with the tps to block these annoying calls.
