Its really upsetting how they go after the elderly and people with disabilities using their dodgy scams. Watch out especially for those tricks about council tax refunds and washing machine cover, they come from the same Brighton lot. They’ll say whatever to get your bank info, jotting it down like it’s nothing. Feels like they should be getting a proper check up soon, if you ask me.

Got a couple of calls from them trying to push a call blocker on me. I fed them a fake card number, just to see if they'll follow through with it or not. Waiting to find out what they do now.

My 75 year old mum got a call from someone saying they were with a company that stops nuisance calls and would renew her TPS registration. They managed to get the last 3 digits from her card. Mum realised pretty quick it was dodgy and cancelled her card straight away. Then those cheeky people rang back a few hours later, but mum told them she wasn’t interested. They called again so I answered, told them they were just scammers and then I hung up.
