I received a call today, 26th February 2021, regarding an outdated timeshare that supposedly has a refund available. Could this be a scam?

The landline was ringing so my husband picked up even though we’ve got Automatic Call Blocking set up. Somehow this one slipped through. The caller kept going on about some timeshare mis-selling nonsense. My husband just said he wasn’t interested and ended the call. We’ve since blocked the number ourselves, and it looks like it’s from Brighton.

Had a call from some dodgy bloke trying to convince me I could get a full refund for a time share they'd sold me illegally. I just stayed quiet while he went on and on. Eventually, I told him if he was the real deal and had my info, he should send me something through Royal Mail, then I put the phone down.

Got a call from some bloke trying to scam me. He kept banging on about how he could get me all my cash back for a timeshare I supposedly bought illegally. I just stayed quiet the whole time, and when he asked for my info, I told him if he was real he could just send something through Royal Mail. Then I slammed down the phone.

I got a call looking for a woman I’ve never heard of, but since I keep getting calls about timeshares, I guess that’s what this was about too.

I received a phone call yesterday afternoon that truly took me aback. The caller requested to chat with my husband, who has been gone for more than two decades now. It was honestly quite unsettling, and I found myself feeling rather disconcerted for the remainder of the day.

I received a call today, the 17th of February 2021, concerning an old timeshare and the possibility of refunds or compensation. They brought up Barclays and HSBC in connection with some financing troubles tied to the original purchase.

Got a call from some bloke saying he was from a law company looking into timeshare deals. Of course, he started on about refunds and the like. I told him straight up i don’t deal with cold calls and didn’t answer any more questions. He kept pushing so i just hung up on him and blocked the number afterwards.

Received a rather frosty call earlier. They introduced themselves as being from MSG and claimed they wanted to help us secure a refund for our timeshare. However, I chose not to pursue the conversation any further to gather more details.

Got a ring from this number claiming to be from a firm sorting out dodgy timeshares. They actually used my name and said I’d owned a timeshare before, then said the company got busted and I might get all my money back! The voice was a bloke and you could hear loads of chatter like a call centre in the back ground. Told them I wasn’t interested and hung up straight away.

Got this weird call about a timeshare, with some dodgy story about money being offered by the owner after losing a court thing. Honestly, if it walks and talks like a scam, it probably is one, right? Felt totally fishy to me.

No clue who that was, but I caught some tunes playing faintly in the background.

Some bloke called Steve rang me, claiming I'd signed something that let Marketing Solutions Group contact me about a timeshare I'd supposedly bought. When I asked him for the date I supposedly signed the form or when the purchase took place, he had no clue. It all felt a bit dodgy to me, like a scam. Then he started getting quite nasty and rude, which could really upset someone who's easily shaken.
