They've been ringing me every day this week, once a day at least. I just don't pick up if I don’t know the number, especially when they don’t bother leaving a voicemail. Honestly, I’m amazed they haven't stopped by now.

Just received a rather dodgy call from a company purporting to be HomeGuard or HomeShield, claiming that the warranty on my washing machine had expired and offering some sort of cover. When I queried which make my washing machine was, he responded with "Hotpoint," which made me chuckle since that’s absolutely not right-I picked it up second-hand nearly nine years ago! I kept probing for more information, fully aware that this was likely a scam, and he managed to maintain his composure through most of my questioning. He did ask for my name, but I completely forgot to ask how he’d obtained my number in the first place. Just a heads-up about this Brighton-based number: 01273 929957-be cautious!

This bloke keeps ringing me up. He mentioned something about my washing machine but then just ended the call straight away. Now he’s just been hanging up on me every time.

I get calls from them all the time, like 4 to 7 times daily. When I finally manage to answer, it takes me a bit since I’m disabled, and just as I pick up, they end the call straight away. It’s super frustrating and feels like they’re deliberately bothering me. Definitely feels like harassment.

This guy, sounded indian, kept firing off loads of questions but never once told me what company he represented. That’s normally a clear red flag for a scam in my experience.

Got a missed call from this number but no voicemail left. Could be spam or a scam, who knows. Just a heads up, if you pick up and they start asking for your personal info, definitely don’t share anything! I’ve blocked them already. Better safe than sorry!
