A really polite lad rang me a couple months back about my manufacturer's warranty running out, said there was a claim on my washing machine that could be fixed, so they ended up swapping it for a completely new one. Would definitely suggest them.

Brilliant service! I saved more than £300 on my kitchen gadgets from D&G. Had the engineer come out twice, and each time they gave me a heads up to confirm I’d be home. Both issues were sorted out really quickly. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Got a call this morning from a nice chap who explained some deals for breakdown cover on my Washing Machine. I went for the £7.99 plan which seemed pretty decent. The guy sounded really helpful, and he even managed to sort me out with better cover than the Sky one I had before. Fingers crossed for good service!

Brilliant service, managed to save more than £160 this year. Used to be with Domestic and General and they charged me way too much, but these lot are really solid with top-notch customer care. My appliance packed up just 3 months after I signed up and they sent someone around in just 2 days. Proper impressed. Highly recommend ++

Got a call from someone saying he was Michael Collier, like that’s supposed to prove anything. He said my LG washing machine warranty needed renewing and wanted my bank details to charge me £7.99 a month. I told him no way I’d give that info. Complete scam. I don’t even own an LG washing machine, and the one I do have, I reckon a warranty is just a rip-off anyway.

Some guy just rang me, acting really dodgy - couldn’t even explain how he got my info, claiming he was 'new' and didn’t really ‘know the company inside out’. I told him that’s fine but he couldn’t answer simple questions about where my details came from (definitely not Zanussi, I never bought anything from them, yet he had all my info??). He quickly cottoned on I wasn’t buying it and ended the call. Total scam.

Got a call from a guy telling me my washing machine warranty was about to expire and if I wanted to renew it for a year or three. Then he starts asking for my bank info, name, sort code and all that. Funny thing is, he already had my address and other personal stuff.
Just so you know, I've never had a washing machine of that brand, nor have I ever paid for any warranty.

They had loads of my info like my name and address, even said the brand of my washing machine. >> I'VE NEVER HAD THAT MACHINE OR EVEN BOUGHT A WARRANTY FOR IT <<. Everything was fine until they pressed me for my bank details. Watch out, it's a scam, trying to steal your money.

We got a call from a bloke claiming we had a Hoover washing machine and needed to update our warranty for repairs and parts. He first spoke to my husband, who said everything was sorted, then ended the call. Not long after, the same guy phoned again, but this time I answered. He launched straight into the same spiel about renewing the warranty. I asked how much it would cost monthly, but he said he didn’t have those details to hand. When I asked for something in writing because I usually get a letter for stuff like that, he said he couldn’t send anything without getting my machine type, bank info, and address first. I told him I’d caught him out lying, which made him quite annoyed. I hung up after that. At no point did he say which company he actually worked for, only that he was calling on behalf of Hoover.

i wouldnt rush into switching my insurance with domestic and general but this bloke was pretty pushy, which made me a bit suspicious. i said i’d think about it and get back to him but he insisted he’d ring me again. i told him i’m not one to make quick decisions especially when money’s involved, ive got more sense now i’m older. i’m all for cutting costs but sometimes it’s safer stickin with what you know.

A person trying to push a sale or get you to renew a contract. They kept making up a really dodgy story about a particular brand of washing machine. They ring loads, and it sounds like they’re just working their way down a list of washing machine brands. If I wasn’t so busy, I’d mess around and keep the convo going just for laughs. But honestly, life’s too busy for that.
