I've been bombarded with calls from these annoying cold callers, who seem to take delight in leaving absolutely no message. Upon returning one of these perplexing calls, I discovered it was from a company named Teleprotect. Their website is actually http://teleprotect.co.uk/. Apparently, they specialise in gadgets designed to fend off unwanted calls. It's quite amusing, given that even if you're registered with TPS or have an unlisted number, you'll still find yourself on the receiving end of their relentless marketing. It really makes one wonder how many of these silent calls originate from firms similar to this, just before they ring you up to pitch their so-called solution! Honestly, it's all just added to the already extensive list of reasons why having a phone these days feels more like a burden than a privilege!

Received a call from an unknown number, but they didn’t bother to leave a voicemail. Quite peculiar, really!

I've received quite a few international and withheld numbers before these folks got in touch. Seems to me they're likely involved in cold calling to peddle their wares, and possibly even using spoof calls to legitimise their sales pitches. I can't shake the feeling that they’re all in it for some sort of commission incentive!

I’ve been receiving an incessant barrage of calls from a company named Telephone Privacy Service, and it appears they have my name, address, and phone number, despite being ex-directory and registered with the other TPS (Telephone Preference Service). When I confronted them about it, they insisted I wasn't the person they were trying to reach and claimed to have dialled in error. However, they swiftly cut the conversation short before I could request them to remove my details from whatever dubious list they’re using. In the past fortnight alone, I’ve had more than twenty calls from these blokes, and it’s becoming quite a nuisance!
