I received a telephone call from a woman inquiring about my mother, Mrs xxxxxx. I informed her that my mother wasn't around to take the call. When I offered to pass on a message, she outright declined, claiming they were merely ringing to announce the cessation of nuisance calls directed at us. Quite puzzling, considering we've had no such bothersome calls to report!

Someone called me up claiming they were offering a black box for my Virgin landline to help put an end to those irritating nuisance calls. They insisted on needing my bank details to proceed, along with my Virgin account password as well. Sounds a bit dodgy, doesn't it?
