First, he told me to go f### everyone in my family, which was really shocking. Then the very next day, he actually called back apologising, saying I should be sorry instead. After that, I didn’t wake up for a whole day. 27? What a weird situation.

I got calls from these lot a couple of times, first from 01273 714582. I just ignored and blocked them. Then the very next day, they rang from another number, 01273 714583. Same thing, I blocked them again. On the following day, they tried calling yet again from 01273 714584. I declined and blocked once more. Honestly, it feels like proper harassment.

This was obviously a scam, don’t trust it!

They rang up about a washing machine warranty or something. I kept them talking for ages, and you could tell they were getting more excited, thinking they’d caught me. Just as it seemed like they had me hooked, I ended the call and blocked their number straight away.

Some bloke rang up about my washing machine warranty being expired, but he had my name and the wrong address completely mixed up. When I told him he had the wrong place, he admitted he was tired and made a mistake. Then he asked if I wanted to pay for an extended warranty. I told him nicely no thanks, I’m not giving out my card info to some random caller, I’m not daft and I know what this is about. Then he just ended the call.

Got a call about some insurance scam, said my washing machine warranty was up. Funny thing is, I just bought the washing machine like, the day before yesterday! Quite the coincidence, huh?

got a call saying my washing machine warranty was nearly up. i told them i hadn’t got any warranty. they went on about some 5 year manufacturer warranty. that’s odd i said coz my machine’s already 9 years old. i politely said no cheers!
