Got a call yesterday morning from a really polite lady, who asked if I was ####. I usually ask who’s calling, and she told me her name was Lisa, something like that, saying she was from Sky Protection. I told her I’ve never had anything to do with Sky. Then she double-checked if I was at #### on #### (address). I repeated I didn’t have any Sky gear, and she said sorry, must be a mistake on their side and hung up, quite nice about it really. I’m guessing it was some sort of scam, but didn’t expect them to be so courteous!

This bloke knew my name and where I live, which was creepy. He claimed my five year washing machine warranty was about to run out. Thing is, he got the brand wrong - I’ve never had a Hotpoint!
