7 yearsAt around 4:30pm on Monday the 27th, I got a call from someone saying my washing machine’s warranty was about to run out the following week. They asked if I wanted to renew it using a Visa card I supposedly used before. As a 95-year-old lady, I told them I didn’t remember paying with any Visa card and asked them to tell me the last four digits of the card. Oddly, they said they weren’t allowed by law to share that information. I told them I wasn’t comfortable giving any details myself and asked them to send the renewal forms by post, saying I’d fill them out.
