Its a claims outfit. Looks like they get their info from insurance firms and ring up cold to find folks who might make a personal injury claim. Got a call from someone named Jonathan Reid, who somehow had both my name and my old landline number, ringing from a firm called AMS or maybe AIMS, couldn’t quite catch it. He told me someone had hit my car, which was safely parked in my locked driveway at the time! The minute I said the car was fine and hadn’t been touched, he ended the call pretty quickly. Definitely felt like a scam. I’ve added that number straight to my BT block list now.

i once worked at a place like this, it's basically a call centre ringing people about car crashes, trying to assist with making claims for personal injury or other things that insurance might not cover like distress, time lost from work and stuff because of the accident.

They rang me and couldn't even get my name right, then claimed I'd been in a crash. I said it wasn't true, but they kept saying it was. When I asked where they got my number, the bloke said I must have given it online, which is rubbish since I work in digital and I'm very careful with my info. I told him that sounded like a data protection violation, and he just hung up. Proper annoying. I wouldn't normally answer unknown calls but I was waiting on a client from Brighton to ring.

Got a call from some cold callers saying they could help me get compensation for 'uninsured losses' from a crash I supposedly had last year. Told them I never had any accidents and they dropped it straight away lol. The man was quite polite actually and promised to take my info off their list. Bit of a hassle but nothing threatening.

They don’t give up easily, I got called like 7 times in a few days. Always asking about my accident, which felt a bit dodgy since it happened nearly 2 years back? They connected me to a solicitor handling my minor injury claim from that crash, not getting my hopes up but the bloke called Ely seemed pretty clued up.

It’s a marketing firm for lawyers that handle Personal Injury cases after road accidents. The cold call was a bit annoying but nothing too bad. The bloke calling was quite polite. They’re no use if you haven’t been in an accident though.

Got a phone call from this number, some guy named Neil from AML Legal or something. He said I’m owed some money but didn’t claim it, so they wanted to find out why. When I told him I had no clue about any payout, he said they’d give the money to Dogs Trust charity instead. Then he just cut me off while I was still talking. Proper rude and disrespectful. He seemed to know a bit of info about me, but not everything seemed correct???

This evening I got a call from a bloke called Johnathan Reid, said he was meant to help me get some cash back from the accident I had last year. I told him my reg and the date, not sure he can actually do much with that info? Guess I'll wait and see what comes of it.

This bloke rang me up claiming he was from AMS. He wanted to know if I’d been in any crashes over the past three years and if I was up for getting compensation. Told him I wasn’t really interested, but he kept pushing. Ended up giving him the details of the accident anyway. Now I’m just curious to see if anything actually happens with it.

I picked up and said hello a few times, then this really rude bloke started yelling at me about why I'd called him. When I told him he was the one who called *and* sounded like he was working in a call centre, he snapped at his mates, "Oi, quiet down!" and then just hung up. Totally freaked me out. I got a call from some bloke saying I’d been in an accident, which I definitely wasn’t. When I told him I hadn’t, he started shouting and swearing, and freaky enough, he knew my name even though I never gave it to him.

Got a call claiming to be from Reeds Solicitors about a RTC I supposedly had, which I never did. When I mentioned I’m on the TPS, the bloke started getting rude. He tried to flip it around, saying I was the one who called him and accused me of shouting, even though I wasn’t. Then out of nowhere, he asked if I was feeling depressed. To finish it off, I blew a whistle right into the phone - bet he won’t bother anyone else for a while, poor sod probably ended up with a sore ear!

Got a really unsettling phone call from this number. Some bloke named "Jonny" rang me, and it freaked me out because he actually knew my name! Such a weird experience, left me feeling pretty shaken.
