i got a call from this number and they said they was from amex, wanted my date of birth which felt a bit dodgy. i just told them to stop calling and hung up straight away. honestly seems like a scam to me - if amex really needed to contact you, they’d do it safely through their official number or the app, not asking for personal info like that.

They said they were from American Express but sounded a bit dodgy to me. Not sure if it was legit or just some scam. Definitely made me suspicious.

I received a call on my landline that raised my eyebrows. The person on the other end had that unmistakable call centre tone and was inquiring about my son. They claimed to be from American Express, which made me a bit wary. To my surprise, I found out there was a number linked to the 1471 service after the call. As soon as I started expressing my inability to assist, they hurriedly ended the conversation. All in all, the whole interaction struck me as rather dodgy.
