I received a rather unexpected call concerning my washing machine warranty, only to discover they were a good three years behind the times! To add to the confusion, they didn’t even have my current address from when I bought it, seeing as I didn’t reside there at that point. The chap on the other end became quite irate when I expressed my disinterest in their policy and started lecturing me about the price of a new machine. Eventually, I’d had enough and simply hung up and blocked his number!
