Beware of a fake "literary consultancy" going by the name onlinebookwriters. I got on the phone with a guy called Max Milton, who definitely wasn’t from the UK - his accent was so thick I struggled to get what he was saying! He insisted I pay in advance before connecting me to someone who’d supposedly check my writing. The bloke was really cheeky and even rudely brought up that I’m over 71 years old! It was dead obvious this was a con, and the number showed up as protected by Voxbone. Don’t give these arseholes a penny, they’re total scammers!
