On Saturday, I got a call from someone claiming my washing machine insurance had run out with a certain company and they could give me a cheaper deal. I told them to get lost. Then today, another call came saying my existing insurance had expired and my policy had been transferred to them. I called them out on trying to scam me since my current provider never said anything about this. The caller insisted I was wrong and said the policy had indeed been handed over, even went as far as calling me stupid and saying I didn’t understand the situation.

She claimed to be from Sky and when I asked her to say that again, she did. Then I asked if I had called her before (even though I hadn’t), so she said it was a cold call and then I just ended the call.
