Got a call from a woman with a foreign accent talking about some Seuss washing machine. She said the person I was asking for doesn’t live here anymore and straight up called it a scam. I tried arguing a bit but just ended up hanging up. Blocked the number after that.

I got a call about my washing machine warranty supposedly running out. The lady sounded like she had an accent, maybe Chinese, but I’m not sure. I told her my machine still had a five-year warranty, so it shouldn't be expired. When I asked which company she was with, she said something like “Samsung.” She even knew my full name and where I live. This was actually the second dodgy call I had today. Honestly, these calls really stress me out.

I cut the call short, telling her we’re on the telephone preference service list. Actually, my washing machine warranty is still valid, but I didn’t mention that since I thought she might be trying to get info out of me. When I asked which company she was with, she dodged the question completely.
