This morning, I got a ring from this number. The person sounded Asian and started with ‘good morning Mrs. - ’, using my actual surname. But I knew straight away it was dodgy since I’m a miss, not a Mrs, which always sets my alarm bells ringing. I didn’t say anything back and just hung up straight away.

Just got a call from Sky saying my subscription needed renewal! We only signed up recently!!! I hung up straight away.

Lately I've been getting loads of these annoying calls where no one talks when I pick up. Normally I just let them ring and hang up but today I was waiting for an important phone call and forgot my glasses so I answered. Some strange foreign voice came on the line so I just ended the call. Honestly, does anyone actually fall for these daft scams? Seems unlikely to me.

Got a call from someone trying to tell me my washing machine’s warranty was up and they wanted me to buy some kind of insurance. Totally felt like a scam to me.
