Been getting calls from this one spot all the time, but when I block one number, they just ring from a different one with the same area code. I never pick up since I’m at work, but it’s pretty nonstop. Sometimes even rings late in the evening. From what I’ve read in other comments, it’s about insurance for washing machines or dryers, which we don’t even own or want. Seriously fed up with this now. Block, block, block.

They had my name and address, claimed it was about insuring a Bosch washing machine and wanted to confirm my address. I told them I’ve never owned a Bosch washing machine and they just hung up. Funny thing is, last week I registered a warranty online for a Morphy Richards iron.

Some bloke called Brian Kelly said he was ringing about insurance for my AEG washing machine. Thing is, I’ve never had one and I don’t even live at that place anymore. Surely stuff like this breaks GDPR rules? The ICO really needs to crack down on these annoying calls.

Somebody called saying my Zanussi washing machine was out of warranty, even tho I only got it back in April this year. I’ve got forms filled out for hair straighteners warranty, so prob got confused. The bloke claimed I had no insurance, but I do pay privately. Then he goes “Oh dear” about the insurence, and asked how much I pay monthly. Got annoyed and hung up as he already knew my name and where I’m from. Watch out for these types, feels dodgy.

Got a call trying to push a warranty for a Bosch washing machine we don’t own. They wanted my bank sort code and account number before even sending any direct debit forms. I told them in a survey that we don’t have any Bosch gear and nothing needing a warranty right now. Fingers crossed they’ll stop ringing me soon.
