It’s not Greenpeace! It’s actually Purity Fundraising, a company that does fundraising for loads of different charities, like Prostate Cancer UK and Battersea Cats and Dogs Home, among others.

The folks on the other end are quite pleasant, but it can be a bit of a nuisance with their frequent calls at all hours just until they catch you. Personally, I contribute to their cause on a regular basis, but that doesn't mean I’m keen on receiving a barrage of calls every few months for additional donations. If you find yourself in the same boat, I'd recommend asking them to dial it down a bit or to refrain altogether.

Feel free to keep ringing, I decided to unblock the number out of curiosity since I had it blocked for a while. I was a bit on edge thinking it might be someone from Rac. They phoned me at 8 o’clock in the evening, purporting to be from Greenpeace, and wanted to discuss my contributions to their cause. I declined, and the chap asked if he could ring me again later.
