Got a annoying automated call from someone pretending to be my internet provider saying my service was ending right away. Total scam. Feels like stuff like this should be illegal.

Called an old lady thrice in a single day, saying they’re from BT with a strange American accent, warning her they’d cut off her internet (which she doesn't even have) if she didn't stay on the call. Luckily, the lady ended the call all three times and wrote down the number to report it!

Got a call from this number at like 5 in the morning, proper scared me since my dad’s older and I thought something bad had happened. Picked up and no one said anything. Have blocked it now.

Got a robo call with some American accent sayin, "This is your internet service provider."

Had a bit of a run in?? I told him the only accident here would be me kicking him right in the backside, then he started being proper rude, calling us all names and told us to go away. Just blocked him straight away.

He said I’d been in an accident sometime in the past couple of years. I told him sorry to hear that but honestly, that was news to me. I joked that I hoped he wasn’t trying to jinx me. Then he told me to quit messing about. I told him to just stop calling me! I’ve blocked the number now.

Some bloke rang me askin’ for Billy Donaldson. I just told him to jog on, shouting something like - screw you and screw Billy Donaldson. The muppet then asked how old I was and said how would I feel makin’ calls like that for my job, gettin’ told off. So I gave him a mouthful of swearin’ till he hung up. Pretty sure I rattled him. Blocked the number straight away. Should’ve told him to find a proper job while I was at it.

Nowadays, when I get calls like this, I just reply with a funny but rude text that gets turned into a voice message by some machine. It really wastes their time and cheers me up thinking about how they’re wasting mine. Honestly, I’d tell everyone to try it - let’s mess with these annoying people in their own game!

Got a call from some marketing firm saying I’d been in a car crash sometime in the last two and a half years. I asked for the exact date and the bloke just said he didn’t know, which was a bit odd. Then I asked who gave them my info and he said “UK INSURANCE GROUP.” I told him I was looking them up online and he just hung up on me. Rang the number back and got a recorded message that it was a marketing company. Seriously, don’t give them any info and just block the number.

This number just rang me on my mobile. I answered straight away without checking who it was, as I was waiting for my sister to call. A bloke spoke with a faint Asian accent but clear English, asking for me by my name. I asked who he was but my phone’s signal dropped badly at home and the call got disconnected. He probably assumes I hung up on him and won’t bother trying again - fine by me!
