This sounds like one of those dodgy washing machine warranty calls, best just to put the phone down and ignore it.

On the 11th of Feb, I got a call about extending the warranty on our Beko washing machine. The call cut off halfway through, so I looked up our warranty info and found out it actually runs until 2023!

Got a call earlier saying my washing machine warranty ended. Nah, can’t be right, I only got that thing back in December. Fishy if you ask me.

I’m convinced it was a scam. They rang me about renewing the warranty on my washing machine and asked for personal info. I refused to give anything out. Then they tried selling me an extension on my lapsed warranty, so I asked what brand my machine was. They said it was BEKO... which I’ve never had! Bit of a giveaway, right? After that, they just ended the call. What a dodgy move!
