Today I got a call from these people saying my loft insulation needs checking by a surveyor, and if I've never had one done at my place, I should get it done now. They offered a “free inspection”... total SCAM. This is the second freakin call like this I've had just today. I’m actually a chartered surveyor (MRICS) and let me tell you, what they're saying is complete nonsense. There’s no rule about lofts needing a survey every two years. Received a phone call from this number, purporting to be from Domestic & General. They mentioned they were based in Brighton, specifically on Edward Street.
