I got a call from a Brighton number but there was no one there when I answered. I was curious so I dialled it back and actually spoke to someone who said they were from the UK Energy Saving Network. But when I checked their website, the firm isn't even located in Brighton and their phone numbers don't match up. Sounds like it might be a dodgy scam to me.

No one spoke when I answered, so I just ended the call. Felt like a total time waster and probably some kind of scam.

I didn't pick up and just let the voicemail grab it, but they ended up hanging up anyway.

They never mentioned their name. The person said they’d rung me last autumn regarding some government schemes to improve home energy efficiency. I don't remember getting that call before - honestly, who would after such a long time? Sounds like it was probably a scam to me.
