Had a dodgy phone call today from someone purporting to be from Windows, saying my computer was compromised. They were clearly fishing for access and their English was quite choppy. Beware, it's definitely a con!

I received a call today around 12:47 pm from a chap named 'Peter', who had quite a thick Indian accent, claiming to be from 'Microsoft Services'. He was rambling on about some supposed issues with my computer. Just as I was about to blow out the candles on this scam's birthday cake, he abruptly hung up. Normally, the number doesn’t show up on my caller ID, but oddly enough, it did this time.

Just had a bit of a giggle with someone on the line. I mentioned I owned an Apple, and he cheekily responded that he had a mango. Quite a riot, really! Then, out of nowhere, he just ended the call! What a character!
